Educational Ecologies
The academic space acquires relevance as a laboratory to explore and disseminate new ways of thinking, imagining and creating. A space that provides fertile soil to seed and germinate

Contemporary challenges require new scenarios for experimentation, knowledge and dissemination. Spaces to reimagine our future landscapes. Narratives and positions that contribute to understand how our discipline is able to enhance our biocultural and social habitats.
With these concerns, from the Landscape Architecture studios -LARK-, our laboratory team explores and shares from the academic space, by exploring and developing a series of experiences connected to the diverse geographies of Iceland and the Nordic scape. A learning environment towards ways of inhabiting our places and ways of being.
Focusing on biodiversity and local ecosystems, and aiming to establish connections between place and knowledge, our academic team develops a series of didactic approaches. These initiatives encourage ideas, reflections and field actions, while inviting to explore ways of learning and interacting across Icelandic landscapes.
